Welcome to the NFA Awards 2013!
The NFA awards are now closed for entries.
Thank you to everyone who entered. We are delighted with the high level of entries and the short listing process is now underway. The finalists for each category will be announced in June so watch this space!
You may be interested in the following facts about the awards:
- We have had 115 entries this year from 37 ALMOs which is an increase on last year
- We have had entries from all parts of the country - from the north, south, east and west
- We have had an even spread of entries across each category – 'Best Community Initiative' was the most popular, receiving 26 entries
As well as recognising the most innovative and effective projects from around the country, the awards also honour the commitment and dedication of ALMO staff and residents who play an essential role in regenerating and improving their local communities.
The awards ceremony will take place on 9 July 2013 at the Midland Hotel, Manchester as part of the Federation's annual conference. All shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the event.
With over 1,000 entries to date, the awards continue to celebrate achievements in housing management, community regeneration and tenant involvement. The eight categories in the 2013 awards are:
- Most Outstanding Resident
- ALMO Team Member of the Year
- Board Member of the Year
- Most Effective Partnership
- Best Community Initiative
- Best Green Initiative – new for 2013
- Championing Digital Inclusion – new for 2013
- Championing Financial Inclusion – new for 2013
The closing date for entries is midday Friday 3 May 2013.
