Eamon McGoldrick

Managing Director

Eamon’s career in housing spans four decades, beginning as a management trainee with Greater London Council and then working with the London Boroughs of Brent, Hillingdon and Barnet. In 2004, he became CEO of Homes for Islington. Now an independent consultant, he took on the role of MD at the NFA in 2013. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Institute of Management.

Lisa Birchall

Head of Policy

Lisa joined the NFA in 2017 and became the NFA Head of Policy in January 2024. She has worked in social housing research, policy and bid roles for over 15 years. Lisa’s research for the NFA has spanned many of the sector’s key issues including the tenant voice, homelessness, housing management, Universal Credit, claims harvesting, and the ALMO/local authority relationship. She leads on NFA policy work and supporting staff in the ALMO sector to network and share good practice.

Cheryl Stonehouse

Press & Communications

Cheryl spent the first part of her career on national newspapers and then moved into the third sector in 2007, delivering communications for an international development research team at the University of Birmingham. She joined the in NFA in 2018.

Alli Ward

Events and Office Manager

Alli has held management and PA roles in the catering, education and housing sectors, and before joining the NFA in 2015, was a member of the events team at the Chartered Institute of Housing. She holds diplomas in catering management and business administration. Alli is repsonsible for the NFA events and webinar programme and supports all ALMO members and the NFA board.
