Our services

The NFA works to:

        • advise, support and inform members;
        • deliver high-level policy lobbying and negotiating to further members’ aims and ensure the sector’s voice is heard;
        • promote the ALMO model – the management of council-owned stock by arms-length organisations – both within and beyond the sector;
        • facilitate networking, discussion, policy briefings and training;
        • deliver communications that further all NFA objectives through a high profile media and online presence and social media channels;
        • prepare monthly policy updates for members;
        • deliver good practice briefings, seminars, roundtables and one-day events throughout the year;
        • research and publish findings on topics critical to its members, the wider sector and policy makers, such as house building, welfare reform and health and housing.
