November 2021: Joint NFA and CWAG publication
This joint report from the NFA and CWAG (Councils with ALMOs Group) reviews the range of models of management, partnership and assurance that have evolved between ALMOs and their parent councils. It aims to inform conversations between local authorities and ALMOs about how they meet the challenges of post-pandemic recovery while making sure they comply with the provisions of the Social Housing White Paper and the new regulatory environment.
It includes a checklist of 34 questions to help track compliance in nine key areas across resident engagement, performance monitoring, audit and risk management, and health & safety.
