NFA member Nottingham City Homes is the first housing management organisation in the UK to pilot net zero retrofits using the Energiesprong approach. The first 10-home pilot project transformed a mix of terraced houses and bungalows in to zero-carbon homes, and a second 17-home pilot, completed in Summer 2019.

October 2018: NFA briefing

The NFA initially met with Energiesprong, a Dutch market development program for energy efficiency in buildings, in February 2014. This meeting was to explore the possibility of ALMO and NFA involvement in a retrofit project that they hoped to bring to England’s social housing stock.
