LGA event – The social housing regulation bill: information for councils

This webinar, in collaboration with Association of Retained Council Housing and National Federation of ALMOs, will give councils the opportunity to hear from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and the Regulator for Social Housing on the Social Housing Regulation Bill, and the implications of the new regulation regime for stock holding local authorities (including councils with Arms-Length Management Organisations (ALMOs) and Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs).

Delegates will also have the opportunity to hear a council’s perspective on self-referral and how working with the Regulator for Social Housing has supported them in their improvement journey, and put questions to DLUHC and the Regulator. We will also be sharing information about the LGA’s new Social Housing Management peer challenge and how participating could help your council to prepare for regulation and improve the service provided to social housing tenants.
