NFA One day annual conference and dinner – The ALMO Advantage

Sponsored by:

ALMOs are a unique part of the local authority landscape. Since their inception in 2002 ALMOs have grown to be a partner of choice for local authorities, delivering a range of services which support the strategic objectives of councils. They sit within the local authority family and provide a strong focus on housing management, operational excellence, resident engagement and good governance.
That landscape is now changing as Government reviews and strengthens both consumer regulation and building safety. At the same time the country is facing up to the climate emergency and ALMOs and Councils need to take action to help combat it. We believe that ALMOs have the advantage in reacting positively to this agenda and the NFA Annual Conference, The ALMO Advantage provides ALMO Board members and officers as well as Councils with ALMOs the space and time to reflect on how best to prepare for that change.
At the event in the calendar for ALMOs and their stakeholders you will be challenged to think about whether you are providing the best services to tenants, how you can improve your engagement with tenants and listen to customers better as well as hearing from others in the sector on how they are meeting the challenges of net-zero and building safety.
You will hear from the Regulator of Social Housing as well as inspirational speakers from in and outside of the sector. Across keynote sessions experts and practitioners will discuss the new environment faced by ALMOs and their communities – sharing knowledge and expertise and encouraging debate among attendees.
During the evening, we will hold the live NFA 2022 photography competition #pulling together final and celebrate the ALMO sector with a 3-course dinner. We have accommodation available for the night of Thursday 28 April which includes breakfast on Friday 29 April. (book early to secure a bedroom)
