Wednesday 23 June 2021 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm
£95

The NFA hosts the second of its 2021 What Works in Housing seminar series on Wednesday 23rd June 2021. The topic is Building Safety – Best practice and new regulation.

View the preview programme here!

The role of day-to-day housing management in building safety is very much under the spotlight in this current phase of the Grenfell Inquiry. Councils and ALMOs continue to grapple with addressing immediate building safety concerns in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire – and they also need to prepare for the new building safety regime that will pass into legislation over the next few years.

The seminar will be chaired by Sarah Stevenson Jones, Resident Safety Director at Enfield Homes who is skilled in fire risk and compliance management. She brings to this event a strong operational and strategic background alongside extensive experience of designing and implementing business processes to deliver change programmes and service improvements. We’ll also present evidence and experience tested on the ground by ALMO housing managers and residents from across the country, including Your Homes Newcastle, Stockport Homes, Poole Housing Partnership, Barnet Homes and Lewisham Homes.

This event will be of interest to all housing professionals who want to share in hands-on building safety learning from leading organisations and individuals in the sector.
