A joint letter from the LGA, NFA and ARCH about our concerns relating to the potential upcoming changes to the Decent Homes Standard (DHS). It is  necessary to raise our concerns for the need for sufficient time and funding for councils to implement any changes in the Decent Homes Standard ahead of any formal consultation on proposals.

Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE has responded to acknowledge our concerns and commit DLUHC to working with the LGA to discuss these issues with a small group of local authorities.
