Within our response, we share concerns with the steep increase in fees and the timing of the announcement of the increase, as well as commenting on the need to show value for money for the service from tenants.

The NFA has submitted a response to the government’s call for evidence on claims management activity in housing disrepair, launched jointly by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and the Ministry of Justice.

The NFA has provided a submission to the Autumn Budget process which highlights four priorities: £2/week rent convergence from April 2026, discounted PWLB borrowing, £2.5bn in low-interest loans for council homes, and a review of HRA sustainability.
