This report details the management structure of NFA members: they are ALMOs – arms length management organisations – that manage council housing on behalf of their parent local authorities. Their work is overseen by a board of directors which includes tenants, local authority nominees and independent members who have relevant experience of social housing, regeneration, social cohesion or finance.

Our members are usually established as companies limited by guarantee under the Companies Act 2006, but do not trade for profit or issue shares.
