Excellence in management and partnership:
How councils can put the ALMO advantage to work in the new regulatory environment
NFA & CWAG Publication
This joint report from the NFA and CWAG (Councils with ALMOs Group) reviews the models of management, partnership and assurance that have evolved between ALMOs and their parent councils. It aims to help local authorities, ALMOs and council housing management departments consider how they address the challenges of post-pandemic recovery while making sure they comply with the provisions of the Social Housing White Paper and the new regulatory environment.
It includes a 34-question checklist toolkit to help track compliance in nine key areas. These include resident engagement, performance monitoring, audit and risk management, and health & safety.
The toolkit is also published here as a stand-alone document for easy access and download.
