Tenants Leading Change –

An investment not a cost

In 2015, national tenant organisations worked with researchers at the University of Birmingham to examine whether investment in tenant involvement delivers financial, service, social and community benefits.

The study found investment brought all these benefits and improved tenant satisfaction. However, it also urged the housing sector – already, in many cases, committed to improving tenant engagement – to identify and publicise the improved outcomes of better tenant engagement.
