Berneslai tenants shape annual report.

A tenant-shaped view of how Berneslai Homes performed through the height of the pandemic is captured in its new annual report.

Developed with the Berneslai Tenant Voice Panel, it sets out 20 performance scores and shows that on more than three-quarters of them, the organisation is in the top 25% of well-performing landlords.

The report, which includes contributions from the tenant scrutiny panel and eight tenants and residents community panels, outlines plans to improve safety and investment to homes, push forward on zero-carbon targets, develop online services and improve BH’s listening and response to the tenants’ voice.

Jane Faulkner from the Tenant Voice Panel said: “We’ve included information which we believe most matters to tenants. We meet as a panel regularly to consider Berneslai Homes’ performance and service delivery, so we’ve a good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, which have been reflected in the report.”

Berneslai Homes Chief Executive Amanda Garrard has thanked the Tenant Voice Panel for putting the annual report together. “The panel really makes a difference for our tenants. I also want to thank our staff – despite an extremely challenging year we’ve done amazingly well to keep most of our services running during the three lockdowns.”
