ALMO is UK's first Resolve-accredited housing organisation

NFA member Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) is the first housing provider in the UK to achieve the new Resolve Standard accreditation.

Resolve promotes innovative and effective ways of improving community safety and tackling anti-social behaviour. As a national centre of excellence, it highlights best practice across the sector through collaborative working and by offering training and consultancy services. The new Resolve Standard was launched this year after a successful pilot stage.

At NPH – a housing management ALMO wholly owned by West Northants Council – a rigorous accreditation process included a workshop with NPH staff who were also asked to submit a portfolio of evidence and agree to peer review.

Assessors concluded: “Northamptonshire Partnership Homes offer a high quality anti-social behaviour service, recognising the importance of making communities safer and ensuring that appropriate resources are in place to support all victims of ASB. The organisation meets the Resolve Standard principles and underlying commitments.”

NPH has a dedicated team of tenancy compliance officers whose role is to deal with anti-social behaviour to make sure residents feel safe and can easily report any concerns.

Ryan Surridge, NPH’s Tenancy Compliance Team Manager, said: “We are proud to have met the Resolve Standard. It demonstrates the emphasis NPH put on providing a high-standard ASB service for residents.

“Hopefully this reassures victims of ASB and provides them with the confidence to report issues to NPH while also highlighting the hard work put in by the Tenancy Compliance Officers and partner agencies in Northampton to tackle ASB.”
