The NFA has responded to the government’s consultation on the new Competence and Conduct Standard. 

In our response, we welcome the focus on professionalism and broadly welcome the Competence and Conduct Standard.

We raise some concerns with the detail in the consultation and the practical challenges of implementing the proposals, particularly those relating to professional qualifications.
