The NFA has submitted a joint submission with ARCH and CWAG to the Government’s consultation on the future social housing rent policy. 

In our response we argue that Government needs to look at rent policy in the wider context of local authority housing finances, and implement a number of measures to support local authorities to balance their budgets in the short to medium term. This will enable local authorities to maintain existing homes and contribute to the government’s ambitions around new build.
