The Decent Homes Programme NAO report

The Decent Homes Programme, overseen by the Department for Communities and Local Government, aimed to improve the condition of homes for social housing tenants and vulnerable households in private sector accommodation in England. In 2010, the National Audit Office assessed the programme’s progress, cost and impact. This report is supported by four appendices which cover comparator programmes in Wales and Scotland, methodology, case studies and the results of the study survey.
