Eddie Hughes, the Minister for Homelessness and Housing, has written to social landlords to advise them that the Government has laid the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (Amendment) Regulations 2022 in draft before Parliament. If approved, these will come into force 1 October 2022 with no implementation period.
