NFA submission to the Social Security Advisory Committee investigation into proposals for migration of existing working-age income-related benefits to UC

The government plans to move existing claimants of working-age benefits across to Universal Credit through a process of managed migration. Our response to the Social Security Advisory Panel’s investigation into these plans draws on findings from our annual survey into Universal Credit. It argues that government should fix the problems with the Universal Credit system before the mass migration of current claimants.
