Director HQN
Chloe joined HQN in January 2024 as Director, working across all areas of the business. She is a senior and well-respected leader in the social housing sector with over 25 years of experience. She previously worked for the National Federation of ALMOs, leading their policy and lobbying work and working with government and local authority stakeholders to make the case for council housing and ALMOs and share good practice across the ALMO sector. She has also worked for London Councils
and started her housing career as a trainee housing officer on Churchill Gardens Estate, Westminster whilst gaining her Masters in Housing with a Professional Qualification. As part of the HQN team, she brings her expertise and knowledge to the wider sector, working initially with the networks and events teams to ensure the HQN membership offer continues to be relevant, useful and of a high quality.
Chief Data Officer at Housemark Ltd
Jonathan has over 15 years of experience providing data analysis and business support to the social housing sector.
He previously worked for two large London Housing Associations before joining the Housemark data team in 2012. Jonathan has delivered a range of data consultancy projects, and recent clients include Catalyst Group, Trivallis, Solihull Community Housing, Stonewater Group and Aster Group.
The Art of Brilliance

Darrell is a trainer and Director of Art of Brilliance Ltd. He was plucked from a leadership role within media, where he spent time helping develop talent in the media industry. Instilling positivity, confidence and self-belief has been a major factor in his coaching of people and teams from radio stations in Sheffield, Hull and Wolverhampton. He has many proud moments in his career, but none more so than seeing individuals achieving and feeling greatness – greatness which has been recognised by numerous prestigious radio awards.
His lifetime goal is to inspire millions of people across the world. Darrell joined the ‘brilliant’ team in 2011 working with businesses such as Ernst & Young, National Grid and Astra Zeneca as well as numerous NHS regions, Schools and other public sector organisations. He has immersed himself in the ‘brilliant’ philosophy especially in areas of positivity, happiness, wellbeing and flourishing. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as our core values of simplicity, energy and fun. He is also the co-author of the best-selling book ‘The Art of Being a Brilliant Teenager’ (Capstone 2014).
Public Speaker
Hamed Amiri, a refugee from Afghanistan, is now a respected tech leader and accomplished public speaker. His best-selling memoir, *The Boy With Two Hearts*, recounts his family’s perilous 18-month journey to the UK to seek refuge and extend his brother Hussein’s life. The story, highlighting themes of love, family, and resilience, has been adapted into an award-winning stage play performed in Cardiff, London, and internationally.
Born under Taliban rule, Hamed fled to the UK at age ten.
Despite academic setbacks, including failing his A-levels, he persevered to become Chief of Staff in the tech sector, exemplifying resilience and determination in overcoming adversity.
Independent Board Member, Phoenix Community Housing Association
Rebecca joined the Phoenix board in 2021 in her first independent board member role. Rebecca is the lead board member for complaints and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience in customer experience, resident engagement and communications.
Now working as the Head of Operations for First Priority Housing Association who are a small, specialist supported housing provider for people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Outside of this, Rebecca acts as a House of Stonewall Champion for Stonewall Housing and is the current Vice-Chair of the National Housing Federation’s Small Provider network.
