Letter to DWP Secretary of State about the Annual Rent Change process for Universal Credit

The NFA has written to Therese Coffey, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, to call for DWP to fix the process that social landlords have to go through to verify tenants’ rents each April. The process is burdensome, expensive, and takes staff resources away from helping tenants to manage their rents and sustain tenancies.
